Increasing Plasma Membrane Phosphatidylinositol(4,5)Bisphosphate Biosynthesis Increases Phosphoinositide Metabolism in Nicotiana tabacum
Plant Cell Im et al. 19: 1603 Supplemental Data
Files in this Data Supplement:
- Supplemental Figure 1 - Head group analysis of PtdIns(4)P and PtdIns(4,5)P2 from the GFP and Hs PIPKIα cell lines.
- Supplemental Figure 2 - Calcium uptake into the mitochondria (A) and whole cells (B).
- Supplemental Figure 3 - Ratiometric imaging of intracellular calcium using the Ca2+ indicator, Indo-1
- Supplemental Figure 4 - Visualization of mitochondria with Rhodamine 123.
- Supplemental Figure 5 - Visualization of actin with rhodamine-phalloidin
- Supplemental Movie 1 - Localization of GFP-Hs PIPKIα in tobacco cells visualized with confocal laser scanning microscopy. Optical sectioning was performed in steps of 1.6 μm. Images are displayed sequentially, 13 frames per second. Field width: 180 μm.
- Supplemental Movie 2 - Localization of GFP-Hs PIPKIαnin tobacco cells visualized with confocal laser scanning microscopy. When the cells were treated with 0.6 osmolal sorbitol, the plasma membrane extensions that remain attached to the cell wall (Hechtian threads) were clearly visible and showed localization of GFP-Hs PIPKIα with the plasma membranes. Optical sections were taken in steps of 0.5 μm. Images are displayed sequentially, 13 frames per second. Field width: 180 μm.
