Microtubule Motor Ncd Induces Sliding of Microtubules In Vivo
Mol. Biol. Cell Oladipo et al. 18: 3601 Supplemental Materials
This article contains the following supporting material:
- Supplemental Figure 1 - Overexpression of GFP-tagged N-terminal tail domain or C-terminal motor domain does not affect organization of microtubules. Left, MT distribution visualized by immunostaining with α-tubulin antibody; Right, GFP fluorescence. Unlike overexpression of Ncd rigor mutant, neither Ncd N-terminal tail domain (top pair of images) nor C-terminal motor domain (middle pair of images) causes the formation of MT bundles. The expected microtubule binding of GFP-tagged Ncd tail and motor domains seems to be obscured due to a high level of background fluorescence.
- Supplemental Movie 1 - Lack of movement of taxol-stabilized MTs in a control non-transfected cell.
- Supplemental Movie 2 - "Looping" of taxol-stabilized MTs in a cell overexpressing GFP-Ncd".
- Supplemental Movie 3 - The movement of fluorescent speckles in taxol-stabilized MTs in a cell overexpressing GFP-Ncd.
- Supplemental Movie 4 - The movement of marks on taxol-stabilized MTs generated by photobleaching in a cell overexpressing GFP-Ncd. This movie corresponds to still images shown in Figure 4 (middle column).
- Supplemental Movie 5 - Lack of movement of taxol-stabilized MTs in a cell overexpressing GFP-tau.
- Supplemental Movie 6 - Lack of movement of taxol-stabilized MTs in a cell overexpressing GFP-kinesin 1.
- Supplemental Movie 7 - Lack of movement of taxol-stabilized MTs in a cell overexpressing Ncd rigor mutant.
- Supplemental Table 1 - Half-times of fluorescence recovery in the bleached zones.
