Confocal images of RAW cells coexpressing FRLα N terminus-GFP and ΔFH2-C terminus-mRFP (A) or ΔFH2-C terminal-L1062D-mRFP (B). Images are quantitatively analyzed in C. For each cell expressing the indicated GFP fusion protein, we calculated the ratio of the GFP intensity at the plasma membrane to the GFP intensity in the cytosol. The ratios are plotted against the total GFP expression level in each cell (expressed as the fluorescence intensity per unit area). Each data point represents one cell.
