GFP-Spindly concentrates on lagging chromosomes and diminishes after alignment at the metaphase plate. A mitotic cell expressing GFP-Spindly was identified that had brightly labeled chromosomes that are not aligned on the metaphase plate. As these lagging chromosomes are brought to the metaphase plate, the signal diminishes. The video is 200x real speed. The field of view is 25 µm.
