(A) HeLa cells transfected with MARCH5 ^H43W-YFP (green) were immunostained for Drp1 (red) and analyzed by confocal microscopy. Projected series of confocal z-sections obtained with the interval of 0.25 µm are shown. Cell expressing relatively high level of MARCH5^H43W-YFP is shown. Fis1 and Drp1^K38A do not localize to MARCH5 mutant foci. (B) Cells cotransfected with MARCH5^H43W-YFP (green) and Myc-Fis1 (red) were immunostained with anti-Myc antibodies and analyzed by confocal microscopy. (C) Cells cotransfected with MARCH5^H43W-YFP (green) and Drp1^K38A (red) were immunostained and analyzed by confocal microscopy.
