Figure S4. The EH domains, the DPF motifs, and the UIM of Drosophila Eps15 show binding properties that are similar to their mammalian counterparts. (A) A GST fusion protein containing the triple EH domains (GST-3xEH) of Eps15 interacts with Dap160 from adult fly head lysate. The GST control does not pull down Dap160. (B) A GST fusion protein containing the DPF motifs (GST-DPF) of Eps15 interacts with α-adaptin from head lysate. GST-3xEH and GST do not interact with α-adaptin. (C) A His-tagged fragment of Eps15 containing the UIM interacts with purified recombinant GST-ubiquitin, but not with GST.
