Figure S1. Additional chemical cross-linking supports the conclusion that Myo2p is a dimer and Myo4p is a monomer. Myo4p-GFP and Myo2p-GFP were crosslinked with EDC/NHS, DMP, or DSS. DMP and DSS have spacer arms, whereas EDC is a zero-length cross-linker. Neither DMP nor DSS were as effective as EDC in cross-linking Myo2p and Myo4p. All three cross-linkers produced similar results, with Myo2p cross-linking as dimers, and Myo4p monomers cross-linking with She3p.
