Positive cells for active caspase 3 were detected by immunohistochemistry with anti–caspase-3 antibodies in tail skin from the indicated genotypes. No significant apoptosis could be detected in untreated (control) or TPA-treated (+TPA) G3 Terc^+/–* or G3 Terc^–/– skin.
