Three-dimensional aspects of leukocytes interacting with lymphatic endothelial cell junctions. Confocal image with isosurfaces rendered by Imaris corresponding to the CD45-positive leukocytes (red) marked with arrows in Fig. 6 (H and I) within a tracheal initial lymphatic 24 h after M. pulmonis infection. Lymphatic endothelial cell junctions are marked by VE-cadherin (red) and PECAM-1 (green). Pushing the side of the frame will rotate the specimen horizontally to observe the relationship of leukocytes with the wire-like meshwork of endothelial junctions.
