Figure S3. CD103⁺ DC pick up orally administered antigen for presentation to T cells. BALB/c mice were given OVA or BSA in drinking water for 5 d. 0.75 x 10⁵ MLN CD103⁺ or CD103² DCs from these mice were cultured with 10⁵ CD4⁺ T cells from DO11.10 SCID mice and 2 ng/ml rhTGF-β. At day 6 of culture, T cells were stained for CD4 and Foxp3 and analyzed by FACS. Graphs depict (A) total number of CD4⁺ T cells per well and (B) total number of Foxp3⁺ T cells per well.
