A video of an embryo depleted of the survivin, BIR-1, expressing GFP-histone. The maternal nucleus is initially on the left and the paternal nucleus on the right. Paired DIC/GFP images were acquired every 6 s; playback rate is 12 frames/s. The chromosome segregation phenotype is essentially identical to that observed in CeINCENP-depleted embryos.
