Figure S1. Apg12-Apg5 is present primarily in the cytosolic fraction. Cell homogenates were prepared from wild-type ES cells before or after a 2-h amino acid starvation (Total), and were fractionated into pellet (P100) and supernatant (S100) by centrifugation at 100,000 g. These fractions were analyzed by immunoblotting with antibodies against Apg5, Lgp85 (a membrane bound protein marker), and aldolase (a cytosolic protein marker).
