HIV-1 virions interact with preexisting rhTRIM5α cytoplasmic bodies. HeLa cells stably expressing YFP-rhTRIMα were infected with mCherry-Vpr–labeled HIV-1 virions. Z-stack images were acquired every 15 s for 10 min. For clarity, the plane in which the interaction occurs is shown. The track followed by the relevant cytoplasmic body and HIV-1 virion is provided in the last frame. The video shows one z section from a deconvolved z-stack image showing the z section in which the interaction is currently trafficking at each time point.
