Figure S2. Scatter plot comparisons of naive, memory, and KLRG-1^Int and KLRG-1^Hi effector subset gene expression profiles. To elucidate the relation of various CD8 T cell populations, expression levels of mRNA were measured by microarray analysis of sorted P14 CD44^Lo naive cells and KLRG-1^Int and KLRG-1^Hi effector cells at day 4.5 p.i., and P14 memory cells at day 60 p.i., as described in Fig. 5. Scatter plot analyses of ∼20,000 unique transcripts were performed for comparison of relationships between the indicated groups using Genespring GX.
