Time-lapse image of Cnd1-GFP taken with Sad1-RFP (example 2). The GFP-tagged cnd1+ gene was chromosomally integrated and expressed under the native promoter in the wild-type S. pombe. Resulting strains were transformed by plasmids carrying the RFP-tagged sad1+ gene under the native promoter. Images were taken at 1-min intervals using a DeltaVision microscope. The display speed is 2 frames/s. Cnd1-GFP (green) and Sad1-RFP (red) are shown. Left, merged images; right, GFP image. Selected frames from this video are shown in Fig. 1 B. Bar, 15 µm.
