Figure S1. NP expression in human cancer cells. The expression of NP1 (top) and NP2 (bottom) was assessed in tumor cell lines by real-time RT-PCR using Taqman gene-specific probes. The mRNA levels of the housekeeping gene β-actin in each sample provided an internal reference. NP expression in tumor cells was further normalized to the mean level in three nontumor cell lines (as in Fig. 1). Values shown in the graph are the mean of triplicates ± SD.
