After completing my Ph.D. studies, I began post-doctoral training with George Carman, whose laboratory focuses on the biochemical and molecular characterization of phospholipids in yeast. During this time I became very interested in phospholipid metabolism and lipid signaling. Together with Drs. Carman and Symeon Siniossoglou at University of Cambridge, we have now managed to find this unusual diacylglycerol kinase.
