Figure S3. LatA injection results in disruption of GFP-Dlg and Spider-GFP–marked furrow plasma membrane integrity. (A) 2 mM LatA or DMSO was injected 5 min after the onset of cellularization. GFP-Dlg–marked furrow membrane was progressively lost after F-actin was depleted from the furrow. Bar, 20 µm. (B) Embryos expressing Spider-GFP were injected with either 2 mM LatA or DMSO at cycle-13 early prophase. As with GFP-Dlg, Spider-GFP–marked furrow membrane was lost gradually after LatA treatment but not after DMSO control injection. Bar, 20 µm.
