Figure S3. Decrease in Pab1-GFP foci in null strains is not due to significant decreases in expression level. Log-phase strains bearing pRP1657, pRP1659, or pRP1660 (all possess Pab1-GFP) were glucose deprived, from which lysates were prepared. These were subject to Western blot analysis to assess Pab1-GFP levels using an anti-GFP antibody. The indicated nonspecific band served as a loading control for quantitation using ImageJ’s “Gel Analyzer” plug-in. Based on such analysis, no strain exhibited <65% of Pab1-GFP levels relative to the isogenic wild-type control strain.
