Yeast temporal analysis reveals accumulation of Pab1 in P bodies before formation of P body–distinct stress granules. yRP840 wild-type yeast were transformed with pRP1660. Each frame represents a collapsed Z-stack image captured at 90-s intervals after an initial 5 min of glucose deprivation stress. Total length of the movie time-course was 45 min. Display rate is 2 frames per second. Green foci are Pab1-GFP; red foci are Dcp2-mCh; yellow indicates colocalization. Bar, 5 µm.
