Vps29-YFP localizes to CFP-Rab7–positive domains on endosomes. HeLa cell cotransfected with plasmids encoding Vps29-YFP (green) and CFP-Rab7 (red) showing the localization of both proteins to the same endosomal domains. Merging green and red channels generated the third image on the right; yellow indicates overlapping localization of objects in the green and red channels. Time lapse is 188 s, with each frame captured every 0.9 s and displayed at 15 frames per second. Representative still images are shown in Fig. 3 A.
