Fig. S1. Effect of overexpressing activated aPKC on cell proliferation at st.16. Embryos unilaterally injected with either aPKC-CAAX or NLS-aPKC-CT at the 2-cell stage were BrdU-saturated and stained on sections at st.16 using anti-aPKC (green) and anti-BrdU (red) antibodies. Nuclei are blue (DAPI). No significant increase in BrdU was observed in experimental (middle and bottom rows) versus control (top row) embryos.
