Proliferation of T lymphocytes from 2B4 TCR transgenic mice to lipid bilayers presenting moth cytochrome C (91-103) in the context of GPI-anchored forms of I-E^k and ICAM-1. Seven-day-old T cell blasts from 2B4 TCR transgenic mice were stained with a titration (to saturating) of anti-CD45 and anti-TCR Fab fragments, and incubated for 48 h with planar lipid bilayers expressing GPI-linked forms of MHC-peptide and ICAM-1. Tritiated thymidine was present for the last 18 h of incubation.
