A Growth Regulatory Loop That Provides Homeostasis to Phytochrome A Signaling
Plant Cell Lariguet et al. 15 (12): 2966. Supplemental Data
Files in this Data Supplement:
- Supplemental Figure 1 - PKS1 expression pattern in light-grown seedlings. Three-day-old PKS1:GUS seedling grown in continuous white light and stained for GUS. Note that GUS expression is largely confined to the root, with a maximal expression level at the root elongation zone (just before the root tip).
- Supplemental Figure 2 - The PKS1 antibody is specific. Total extracts of 9-day-old white light-grown seedlings were separated by SDS-PAGE, Western blotted, and probed with the PKS1 antibody. Note that the antibody doesnt recognize the specific band in the pks1 and pks1pks2 double mutants, but reacts normally with the pks2 mutant extract.
- Supplemental Figure 3 - PKS2 can interact with PHYA in the yeast two-hybrid assay. Yeast two-hybrid interactions of bicoid (control) and PHYA as baits, tested with a vector (control), PKS1, and PKS2 as prey. Note that both PKS1 and PKS2 interact with PHYA but not with bicoid. Millers units are indicated; the averages of three experiments with SD are shown.
