(A) RT-PCR analysis of transgene expression in various tissues that were pooled from three separate transgenic females. Gapdh was used as a control for RNA integrity. (B) Immunohistochemical analysis of HA localization in the mammary epithelium of an 8-week-old virgin transgenic female (representative data shown). Mice from this line were not used in further studies owing to hypothalamic Sim2s transgene expression.
