The bar graph indicates the number of extended platelets (0, 2, 6, 8, and 24 hours) with at least two cell bodies/µL of culture media. For the majority of experiments, progeny formation was analyzed at 0, 6, and 24 hours (n=5; mean±SEM). In two of these five studies, progeny formation was analyzed at 2 and 8 hours. Thus, the bars for timepoints 2 and 8 hours represent the average of 2 experiments.
