Reversal of antiviral activity of activated CD4+ T cell supernatants was carried out as detailed in Materials and Methods for supernatants pooled from at least three replicate SEB-stimulated cultures. HIV-1BaL inhibition was determined in the presence of supernatants preincubated with an isotype control immunoglobulin (150 µg/ml, filled bar) or saturating concentrations of polyclonal antibodies against CCL3, CCL4, and CCL5 (50 µg/ml each antibody, open bar).
