    Fig. S1. MIM is a conserved protein. (A) Amino acid alignment of Xenopus, human, rat and Drosophila proteins demonstrates that MIM is a conserved protein. The red line marks the IMD domain, the green line the SRD domain, the yellow line the PRD domain, and the blue line marks the WH2 domain. The ClustalW 1.83 program was used to obtain the phylogram alignment. (B) Sequence comparison of the individual IMD, SRD, PRD and WM2 domains across species. Note that in Drosophila no clear SRD and PRD sequences were observed by comparison (n.s, not significant).
