    Fig. S1. The specificity and binding affinity of polyclonal (A) anti-trout B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) and (B) anti-eel C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) antibodies were assessed by ELISA analysis. A wide range of dilutions (3×10−9 to 1×10−5) for each peptide was used and all trout antibodies specifically recognized their peptide antigen targets with little cross-reactivity. All antibody dilutions are the same as those used in western blot analysis (1:1000).
