Nonmobile, straight NPC1–GFP containing late endosomal tubules are present in cholesterol-loaded cells. This WTCHO cell was incubated with progesterone plus LDL to produce the phenotype of cholesterol lipidosis, which inhibits late endosomal tubular trafficking. The movie speed is 14 times real time, and it contains 63 frames.
