Collision-induced dissociation and tandem MS analysis of the 861.73 [M-H]^- ion contained within the phosphatidylinositol standard. The mass of ions is accurate to 1 mass unit. Hence the 861.73 [M-H]^- ion appears in this analysis as 860.41. The table indicates the mass of fatty acyl chains and the [M-H]^- daughter ions, which result from the dissociation of an acyl chain (-R₁/R₂) or an acyl chain plus inositol (-R₁/R_{2 -} inositol).
