Persistence and origin of the lunar core dynamo

Correction to the Supporting Information (SI)

The authors note that part of the SI Appendix was published incorrectly online.

The authors note the following: “Sections 11.3 and 11.4 have been modified to reflect the fact that our Ar-Ar data cannot yield a maximum temperature because the reheating event caused total Ar degassing. Rather, the peak temperature of 650 °C reported in the original version of the paper corresponds to the minimum time-temperature conditions that can cause complete degassing of Ar during the ejecta blanket heating scenario. In the new version, we nevertheless reiterate that it is permissible for most of the magnetization of 10017 to persist after a reheating event that resets the Ar.”

Below is a link to the corrected SI.
