AChE activity = sex (as 0 or 1) ´ –24.8840 + age + 1.1311 + race (as 0 or 1) ´ 55.5682 + BMI ´ 6.3681 (P < 3.3 ´ 10-9).
Race: 0, African American; 1, Caucasian; Sex: 0, male; 1, female.
Shown are the residual coefficients for serum AChE activity as determined for the HERITAGE cohort (see the main text for details). To determine the expected AChE activity in other populations, residual coefficients should be calculated for each population to be analyzed. Once this information is available for any specific population, it enables determining the expected AChE activity for each subject in that population.
The calculated residual coefficients can be further used to predict expected anxiety scores for these subjects (see Tables 4 and 5).
Asterisks note the significance level, P, in digits.
