Epithelial Basal Cells Are Distinct from Dendritic Cells and Macrophages in the Mouse Epididymis

Supplemental Data

Supplemental Figures S1-S3 and Movie S1.

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Supplemental Figure S1 - High-resolution version of Figure 1A. Immunolabeling of KRT5 (red) in the C57BL/6J mouse epididymis.
  • Supplemental Figure S3 - High-resolution version of Figure 1C. Expression of CD11c (green) in the CD11c-EYFP mouse epididymis.
  • Supplemental Movie S1 - Reconstruction of a stack of 0.3-µm interval confocal images from a 25-µm thick mouse initial segment section immuno-labeled with an antibody directed against KRT5 for BCs (red), and expressing EYFP in CD11c+ MPs (green). No colocalization was observed between KRT5+ BCs and CD11c+ MPs, however both KRT5+ BCs and CD11c+ MPs extend protrusions towards the lumen and reside in close proximity at the base of the epithelium (bright grid).
  • Supplemental Figure S2 - High-resolution version of Figure 1B. Immunolabeling of F4/80 (green) in the C57BL/6J mouse epididymis.
