Comments.

Meteorus farallonensis was described from Colombia from the departments of Caqueta, Meta, and Valle del Cauca at elevations below 1000 m (Aguirre et al. 2011). This new record from Puntarenas, Costa Rica, at 1500 m represents the highest known altitudinal distribution for this species.
