  • Movie 1 - Movie 1:Unprocessed diffraction-limited integrin distribution. TIRF images of CHO-K1 cells expressing Emeraldαv and untaggedβ3 integrin collected at 2 s intervals using the single molecule super-resolution microscope in diffraction-limited mode. A very thin region(0.5 ? 2 m in width) of higher fluorescence intensity is apparent at the leading edge and is more prominent in regions that are about to protrude. This region corresponds to the black, blue, and green bands in Fig 4 at the time of protrusion onset. Each band is 6 pixels(666 nm)wide.
