Fig. 5. Characterization of anti-nucleoplasmin antibody. Purified prokaryotic expressed His-tagged nucleoplasmin (Npl), egg extracts S-150 and S-150 treated at 70°C for 10 min (Heat-treated) were separated by 15% SDS/PAGE and Western blotted with the rabbit anti-nucleoplasmin antibody.

Normal egg extracts without cytochrome c were incubated at 23°C for the times indicated, and samples were taken out for Western blot analysis by using anti-nucleoplasmin (A) and anti-p-Tyr and anti-Ran antibodies (B). Ran was set for loading control because it was not degraded during apoptosis.
