The jumping behavior of pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP)-deficient mice (PACAP^{- /-}) in an open field. PACAP^-/-mice exhibit hyperactive and explosive jumping behaviors in an open field (see Fig. 6). The frequency of jumping escalated over time during a 60-min observation period. The behavior of a mouse which jumped 1,577 times can be viewed in this movie.
