Symptoms assessed were epistaxis (maximum score 4), cutaneous bleeding (maximum score 4), post operative bleeding (including post dental work, maximum score 8) and menorrhagia (in female participants only, maximal score 4). Statistical analyses performed by the non-parametric Mann Whitney U test.
