A, Semiquantitative method for determining the vBS as described originally by van Bijsterveld (8) and incorporated into the American European Consensus Group (AECG) classification criteria (4,34). However, for this study and to diminish interrater subjectivity, a dot-counting method based on the OSS was used to determine the vBS (14).
