Figure Legend.

Frequency and adjusted odds of in-hospital mortality and critical illness in patients with COVID-19 by tertile of initial cTn concentration (Panel A) and peak cTn concentration (Panel B), and based on the timing of myocardial injury (Panel C). Adjusted odds associated with each tertile of cTn in Panels A and B are compared to COVID-19 patients with the lowest tertile of cTn measured.

Odds ratios are adjusted for age, sex, race, body mass index, tobacco use, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, prior myocardial infarction, prior heart failure, atrial fibrillation or malignancy, temperature at presentation, pulse oximetry at presentation, outpatient prescriptions for antiplatelets, statin, and beta-blocker use, C-reactive protein, creatinine, D-dimer, absolute lymphocyte count, and platelet count.
