Concordance of differential expression analyses with known control genes. True positive, false positive, true negative, and false negative values and the percent accuracy from those values are listed for 64 genes, between 10 brain subdivision comparisons that test the distinction versus continuum hypotheses relationships. All RNA-Seq and in situ hybridization comparisons examined had a percent accuracy between 84 and 100%, adding confidence to the differential gene expression and hierarchical clustering results (Figure 5)
