Table 3. mRNA fold changes in spinal cord of C57BL/6 mice injected with CFA, CFA + pertussis toxin (PTx) or PTx alone.

Mice were sacrificed at the indicated times post-injection with CFA, CFA + pertussis toxin, or pertussis toxin alone. Each determination employed 3 mice, and 3 determinations were made at each time-point. Data are presented as means of fold-differences over uninjected control mice. Shaded boxes indicate that mRNA levels were at least 1.5 fold higher, and significantly different, than in the control samples at that time-point, with a p<0.05 (Mann-Whitney U test).
