Ablation craters on the surface of a thin Staphylococcus epidermidis biofilm (~25 µm thick) grown on ITO coated glass slide imaged by CCD camera. Laser spot diameter was set to be 200 µm. Fluences in the range between 4.4 J/cm2 (craters towards top left) and 0.64 J/cm2 (craters towards bottom right) were applied.
