Voxel-level spatial correlations between consecutive pairs of SFC maps were calculated for each sensory modality in order to check the topological stability of our results. The results showed stable correlation coefficients after six/seven link-step distance (arrows). Therefore, the range from one to seven steps was considered sufficient for the characterization of the connectivity patterns.
