We compared the left and right hemisphere to check for brain asymmetries in the multimodal integration network. Sensory cortices of the right hemisphere have connectivity to a wider multimodal region in the temporo-parietal junction than the left hemisphere (a and b). On the other hand, only primary sensory cortices of the left hemisphere have connectivity to the Broca’s language area in late number of steps (c).
