CD11b-DTR BM chimeric mice (5 mice/group) without or with DT either 24 h earlier (d −1), at the same time (d 0), or 24 h after (d 1) immunization with R614 (2 × 108 CFU/mouse) in saline. DT was administered every 2–3 d for the duration of the experiment. Serum titers of antigen-specific IgM and IgG were measured by ELISA.
