Mean diffusion coefficients of 0.3 kD and 10 kD molecules were significantly increased in infarct center and borderzone when compared to uninjured myocardium (*p<0.05, †p<0.1). Mean calculated diffusion coefficients at 40 kD and 70 kD tended to increase in infarct center and borderzone relative to uninjured heart, but the results are not statistically significant.
