The summary statistics reported in the respective manuals are given in parentheses next to the corresponding sample statistics. The MAB scores were scaled as standard normal using the tables in the MAB manual.91 The NEO summary statistics were calculated for participants between the ages of 18 and 22 for purposes of comparison with the college norms in the NEO manual92 and for participants age 30 and over for comparison with the adult norms.
