Mouse blood was collected from the retro-orbital plexes of 2 and 9 month old wild type and Gla null mice, respectively, as described in “MATERIALS AND METHODS”. The nitrosylated tyrosine in plasma was measured by LC/ESI/MS. The results were normalized to the tyrosine content, the precursor of 3NT. The experiment was conducted twice and performed in triplicate. Values are means ± SE (n = 6).
